Kevin Spacey Tells Television Networks What They Don’t Want to Hear!

By September 17, 2013February 25th, 2021

Kevin Spacey obviously “gets it”. Here is a speech that he made that says things the networks and advertising agencies don’t want to hear. The good thing is they can ignore it for now, but the change is inevitable.

I’ve told clients and prospective clients for some time that the key in this social age is to “give people what they want, when they want it and how they want it“. It’s a very simple admonition but so many refuse to heed it.

If the customer is always right, then do what the customer wants. They want great content. They want great stories. Whether it be television, movies or brands, the need to provide compelling content that appeals to consumers must be met. Your business depends upon it.

h/t to Geoff De Weaver ‏for turning me on to this wonderful and insightful speech.
